Opportunity to Support
The time is almost here for my Guatemala trip.
I will be leaving on the 22nd of April – June 26th. I am excited and preparation is underway. God has been preparing my heart and other hearts are uniting with me.
If I may, allow me to share a little of my heart and what has happened with me since the decision to get out of the boat with BOTH feet. I agreed to go through doors only if God opened them and man did doors open, after me getting out of the way! Undeniable so much so that I have been honored and overwhelmed at times!
After a tenant was provided for my home there was a time frame difference in the occupancy, I moved in with friends on March the 8th. I am very grateful for this time and even thought it has been an adjustment for me
I know that more change is in store and this is a much needed step for the next one. God remains Faithful and friendships are being rekindled.
I am learning about Guatemala and the need for the Good News. We all wonder how we can help with overwhelming odds? I must leave the answer to that question for God, and just go where He says to go. There are over 370,000 kids in orphanages in Guatemala and thousands more living on the streets, this stemming from a 37 year civil war, that ended approximately 10 years ago, as well as many other heart breaking stories there. I am excited to join with a group already in Guatemala and share the Love and Hope of the Father with the ones that God allows.
Below are a few request that I have. You may not be able to pick up and go away to a mission field, however by praying and partnering with me or others, I believe God looks at it as you are going! There is no distance or time in His kingdom!
First, please pray
for His will to be accomplished in all the hearts that ARE and WILL BE affected, here and while traveling in and to Guatemala.
Secondly, please ask God if He would have you provide financial support. I need to raise $2800.00 for the trip, including airfare. One last note; most of you know me well and this step for me has been a BIG ONE
. I can assure you that God goes before, beside, in and with me. If I were not 100% sure of His calling for this trip I would absolutely not be going. I am sure he has called me to step out of the boat with both feet and trust him in this and I cannot wait to tell you what he does on this journey. Please pray and ask God how you can support what He is doing in the earth and this earthen vessel! Thank you so much!
